Beneficial
A person requires a daily intake of foods that are rich in
minerals like selenium and zinc, which are effective means of warding off the
onset of many diseases including heartburn. With deficiency in selenium, a
person would be at risk of contracting more diseases because of the resulting
weakening in the person’s immune system. Thus, peanut and heartburn are
beneficial to one another given the fact that peanut is rich in selenium
content.

though they are not actually true nuts, but actually legumes, they contain
heart-healthy saturated fatty acids. Thus, it may be preferable to olive oils
and, besides being good for the heart, will also not result in weight gain
because obesity is a contributing factor to heartburn.
The bottom line for peanut and heartburn is that it, when
taken in limited amounts, will help in improving the health, and if one should
eat five small meals instead of the normal three, it would reduce the risk of
developing heartburn. The best person that can advise patients about peanut and
heartburn would be the doctor, who will have a complete list of foods
detrimental to the health of a person.
However, typical heartburn foods are those that are spicy
and contain high amounts of acid as also are caffeine and tea that generally
produce heartburn. So, too, will doughnuts, and butter cookies which are bad
news for those having a sweet tooth. In any case, the benefits of avoiding
heartburn rich foods far outweigh the discomfort of not being able to sink
one’s teeth into a delicious and full meal that will, in the end, produce
heartburn.
